Beschreibung:
Der Alinco DJ-X2 (E) ist ein extrem flacher Handscanner, der ohne Batterien " weniger als eine Tafel Schokolade " wiegt.(85 g)
Mit seinen technischen Daten wird er sicherlich eine breite Kundenschicht ansprechen können, besonders aber die, die einen sehr unauffälligen gutaussehenden Handscanner der gehobenen Mittelklasse suchen und Funktionen wie SSB-Empfang sowieso richtigen Weltempfängern überlassen wollen, oder die Möglichkeit einen Scanner mit einem Computer ( richtig ) verbinden zu können, eh als " Beweis der drohenden totalen Vercomputerisierung " halten...
Nachtrag:
Der Alinco DJ-X2 wirkt so leicht, daß man fast glauben könnte " er ist nicht vollzählig "...Der Grund ist sicherlich in den eingebauten Lithium-Ionen Akku zu sehen, die für echte Langzeit-Power sorgt. Für noch mehr Langzeit-Power kann ein auf der Rückseite anklickbarer Batteriekasten ( EDH-27 ) sorgen. Allerdings wird dadurch das Gerät mehr als doppelt so dick... Das Gehäuse wirkt sehr modern und kann bestimmt auch Design-Freunde begeistern. Weniger begeisternswert könnte der eingebaute Lautsprecher sein, der etwas " schmalbrüstig " wirkt. Unser Eindruck: Interessanter Handscanner der gehobenen Mittelklasse mit den Schwerpunkten Maße, Gewicht und Invertierungsdecoder.

Standard Features
- Three Antenna Modes
Use the standard SMA antenna for normal operations. An internal ferrite antenna is provided for low frequency AM reception. The headphone cable can be used as an antenna in place of the SMA antenna.
- Flexible Power Options
You can operate the DJ-X2 using just its internal Lithium-ion battery. Or use the provided EDH-27 dry cell pack as an additional power source. Use both power sources for extended operation.
- Preset Operating Mode
AM, FM and Television frequency bands are already programmed into the DJ-X2 for easy operation.
- Four Scan Modes
Scan preset frequencies, VFO, programmed scan limits or memory bank channels.
- Find Hidden Transmitters

Please remember that you must have the ERW-4 computer interface cable in order to connect your DJ-X2 to your computer. A simple connection cable may not work properly. The USB conversion cable may not work properly either so please use the serial port.
To operate this software the DJ-X2 must be in the "CLONE" mode. Please connect the ERW-4C cable to a serial port and the earphone jack of the unit, boot up the software (make sure the COM PORT setting in the Receiver menu) then turn on the DJ-X2 with VOL/SET key pressed (refer the instruction manual P.26). When the operation is done and the "PASS" appears on the screen, please turn off the unit then remove the cable from the unit.
